Well I am sorry to hear that Gar.. But you gotta take good care of yourself.. And I agree with Carol, really strange that both you and Judy get diagnosed with the same thing only a few weeks apart..
As hard as it is,, try to rest and relax and let your body do what it needs to do to heal. Sure hope your meds begin to help..
You and Dar are in my thoughts and prayers,,

Ohhh I am soo glad to hear you are home Gar.. I bet you are glad to be out of the hospital too.. Probably missed the fuzzies didn't ya??
It helps to know what is going on doesn't it?? Sure hope the meds help and that you start feeling more energy soon..

Update on Gar:
This is copied from an email Dar sent me..
Now for Gar. A few weeks ago he was throwing up quite a bit, now that settled down, and then he found out he had a really bad strep thoart, got thru that, and was starting to feel better, when he started having problems with his legs swelling, finally convinced him to go to the doctors about it. The doctor send him to the emergency room to get a ct scan. By this time his hands and arms had also started to swell. The ct scan showed a couple of gray areas and alot of fluid in his lungs. They kept him in because they wanted to mri, and the only way he could get one without waiting 4 months as a out patient was to be admitted.
Yesterday, they used a needle to withdraw some of the fluid from his lungs. He is still waiting for his mri. He is wishfully thinking he might be out on monday or tuesday, I would love that, but I keeping telling him not to get his hopes up too high. He can't walk very far with his legs and feet swollen so bad, and there are times he has trouble getting his breath.

The beach is about 5 miles from here.. 5-7 minute drive..
You might be surprised Carol,, Jaffa has never been to the beach and he took to it like a fish to water.. Hehe Of course I figured he would like it...Cause he just loves water.. Kahlua wasn't all that happy.. The girls for some reason get real nervous in bright daylight.. Doesn't seem to faze the boys though.. That is why most of the pics she is in my arms hehe... She enjoyed the beach from up high.. They did do a lot of digging.. But that is why I like to take them there..They can dig till their hearts are content..
A couple of older ladies came up and asked me tonnes of questions about them.. And finally I said would you like to pet them.. And the one lady was terrified the other came running over.. Not exaggerating,, she actually ran.. hehe They both ended up petting Jaffa and Boodles.. And the one that was scared let Boodles sniff her hand all over.. Pretty good for someone who was terrified.. Good boys they are.. They were really amazed how soft they were... Lucky both boys have their lush soft winter fur coming in..

LOL the lodge is not big enough for all of them.. Guess they love their new digs.. And I sure hope Larry gets a chance to sleep inside again..
