Looks like they enjoyed being out for some sun and fun.

I got a couple pix of the new leisure lodge.  It's so popular that the fuzzies crowd each other out of it.

These are shots of Rocket and Sumo...

I haven't tried the t'shirt on them yet. Hopefully today...

OMG!  I am sooo, like....you know?!?
Thanks so much for choosing my pic.  If I had known it was gonna be a winner i would have cropped the litter box out of it!

Here's Alice, Carol and Curly sharing a hammy

And I may be biased, but I think Moe has one of the cutest faces I've ever seen on a fuzzy

HI.  I'm kinda new, but I don't think God is mad at you either.  Now that I know you are having troubles I will say a prayer for you. I know cigs are the hardest dang thing to quit.  11 days is enough to get rid of the physical addiction.  You're well on your way!

They say bad things come in threes, so do good things come in pairs?  I got my first kisses from Moe on Thursday and from Sumo on Friday.  Being firsties, I thought maybe they were just licking me to get me out of their faces, but Saturday when I put them to bed for nappies, I carried them over my shoulder as usual when they are tired.  Each of licked my face like I was sweating Ferretone!  so I put them up to my nose and away they went!  Nuthin like ferret kisses!  Fresh ones every day since.  Moe has lived here since March and Sumo since May.  Finally!  the only holdouts now are Curly and Rocket.  Rocket came with Moe.  C'mon, boys, you gotta earn your keep!

Aww she's so pretty.  She deserves extra treats and hugs.

Larry's first anniversary with us was Tuesday the 22nd.  We had extra treats and a plate of ferretone for the house.

I can't tell you how happy i am that you chose Larry for  ferret of the Month.  Larry is a quiet guy, but he loves to be cuddled and he is fighting lymphoma for all he's worth.  He was dxed with cancer back in March and every day he's here is special for both of us.  I expect any day to be his last but I have buried 4 fuzzies since March and he just keeps hangin in.
these pics show the progress of his lymphoma

Eddie loves going for walkies, esp after dark. the one pic shows him waiting by the door.  He really is the coolest ferret.  He has come so far from his dark days in the shed at his last "home."

and btw... what happened to my siggy???  and avatar?

Hehe Chris you forgot to mention how Ed loves his walks..  I did not realice Alice and Carol were under a year.. So glad they are putting on weight and feeling their oats.. So to speak...For us up here in the great white North Shedding season will be apon us.. I hope Boodles packs on weight again too.. He is too thin in my opinion.. He used to be my chubby boy..lol

Oh and I just love your siggie...

Oh, yeah, dar, i agree, that is the awesomest siggy i ever had
I'm actually looking forward to molting season because I'm hoping that Curly gets a ful coat this fall.  He is an awesome fert but looks ragged because of his flea-induced bare spots.  He's showing some black tips which he didnt have a couple months ago when i got him from the humane society, so i'm hopeful.  He deserves to be a handsome DEW.

 A little about the fuzzbutts:
Ed is my alpha, and the first to survive an entire year in my precarious care.  He is about 4-5 and was rescued from a shed, in Florida, aong with Uncle Joe. Whe I got Ed he was a biter, but we've worked that out.  He weighed less than 2 lbs and STANK.  He's just now up to 3 lbs.
Sumo Is my biggest and newest guy.  He's 27 months and is 3.2 lb.  He's a big beggar for treats, but I've weaned him from the bananas his exes used to give him to decent fert treats like NBones. He'll run around the house hissing to himself if he can't find a playmate.
Curly came fron the Humane Society missing some fur but full of attitude.  He was flea infest when they got him.  He is the life of the party and plays rogh, but the others love him.  He wants the alpha job, but Ed isnt giving it up yet.
Larry is in the final stages of hepatic lymphoma.  He came here last September and was diagnosed in March.  He's always been a little aloof from the other ferrets, but the first time he saw me at his ex's he practically jumped into my arms.  His ex thought he was a girl. These days he's content to sleep and be cuddled.
Rocet and Moe came here together after I lost Erika.  They were both shy too, but they have opened up their hearts in the past couple months.
Alice and CArol are the 2 youngest, about 9 and 11 months.  Alice hardly ever sleeps and is the only one that kisses me besides Ed. but Carol is a lover and likes being held and carried around.
More pics as I post.

Thank you for the lovely welcome!
I am a 50 year old college student.  I currently share living arangements with wife Cathy, sons Tristin, 22 and Jasen, 18 and a host of fur bearing critters.  3 kats, Roscoe the BIG dog and 8 ferrets, seen below.
Ive been ferreting for only 2 years but have had a total of 14 fuzzes.  The first 3 managed to escape due to carelessness regarding doors.  I have taken in 10 from people who no longer wanted them.
This year I have lost 4 to the bridge, including my precious Erika, who can never be replaced.  She was the most amazing, lovingest animal i have ever known.  After her loss I felt I couldn't handle any more, but I've taken in 4 rescues since then.
Since I dont have the income I once did, I am going to stick with those I have for now, except in a ferret emergency.
The funny thing is, I don't go looking for ferrets, they find me through friends of friends.
